The Classic Science Fiction series from @McGeekiest Cachets features the eight stamps of the 2016 "Views of Our Planets" issue from the United States Postal Service as well as the "Pluto Explored!" issue. Each planet is paired with the book cover of a classic work of sci-fi literature that features it prominently. The name of the work's author, as well as its original publication date, are printed beneath. The lower-right bears the inscription "Classic Science Fiction" in a font evocative of science fiction book titles. The background is a field of yellow stars. Each is cancelled with a black-and-white pictorial First Day of Issue postmark from New York City dated May 31, 2016.

The science fiction works featured are:

  1. Mercury: Sundiver (1980) by David Brin
  2. Venus: Perelandra (1943) by C.S. Lewis
  3. Earth: Journey to the Center of the Earth (1864) by Jules Verne
