“Historic Carousels” Webfooters Post Card Club covers

Portland's well-known Webfooters Post Card Club just celebrated its 50th anniversary, and in celebration they arranged for a "Carousel Station at Oaks Park" pictorial postmark.

I found scans of vintage postcards featuring carousels, and created four different cachets, each with a drop-shadowed postcard and "Historic Carousels" in a carnival-style font, atop a carousel scene drawn in gold glitter. I used a se-tenant pair of carousel horses from the 1995 issue of the American Folk Art series (Scott 2976-2979) and sent them in for servicing.
