Vega Baja 240th Anniversary covers

Vega Baja is a municipality in north central Puerto Rico located in the northern coast. According to Wikipedia, although is generally believed that Vega Baja was founded on 1776 (after the division of Vega Alta from La Vega), historians have verified that it was many years after that the Spanish Government officially recognized it.

Regardless of the official date of recognition, Vega Baja offered an ornate pictorial postmark in 2016 for the 240th anniversary of the municipality. For this cover from @McGeekiest Cachets, a municipal flag pattern was digitally manipulated to appear to be a draped piece of fabric. "Vega Baja" is printed beneath in green and yellow script. For postage, I used one Puerto Rico single from the Flags of Our Nation Series Ⅴ coil (Scott #4318). It is cancelled with a "Vega Baja is Celebrating 240 Years of History Station" from Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, dated October 7, 2016.
