From the Petoskey News-Review:

The library’s official grand opening took place on April 20, 1918. The building is still located at the same spot at the corner of Park and Main Streets, but it underwent significant renovation in 2001 as part of a $2.3 million gift from the Mary K. Peabody Foundation. [1]
