The Niles Memorial Library was dedicated Friday evening, June 28, with suitable exercises in its memorial hall. The library is the gift of the four sons and two daughters of Varenes and Mehitable Niles, who spent their entire life in Jay. The building is two stories high, of brick and granite. The sum of $5000 has been given for its maintenance by the donors. [1]
