Lumpkin County Library covers

51st in a series

Location:

342 Courthouse Hl
Dahlonega, GA  30533-0507

Research:

From The Dahlonega Echo:

On Saturdry [sic], May 26, the Woman's Home and Improvement Club, at 3.30 p.m., opened the Stephenson Library to the public. Miss Ella Powell of Gainseville suggested the name in honor of Dr. M. F. Stephenson, the distinguished scientist and man of letters whose name is linked with the early associations of this historic town. [1]

Notes:

Immense thanks are owed to personal correspondence with the Lumpkin Library Centennial Facebook page for research used in the preparation of these covers.
