300th Anniversary of Stratham, New Hampshire

The town of Stratham, New Hampshire was incorporated in 1716, fully sixty years before the Revolutionary War. On March 20, 2016, the town offered a pictorial cancellation to commemorate the town's 300th anniversary.

This cover features a background of a map of Stratham and the surrounding area with a mask of a "Live Free or Die" medallion in the upper-left. It bears a 2016 U.S. Flag stamp (Scott #5053) and a 1955 "Old Man of the Mountains" New Hampshire stamp (Scott #1068) and is postmarked with the Stratham pictorial.
