2016 Major League Baseball All-Star Game

Before the 2016 Major League Baseball All-Star Game in San Diego, sailors from the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) and Marines from the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing joined together in a salute to the Armed Forces. For this cachet, I warped a photograph of this ceremony into a sphere and styled it as a baseball, gave it a shadow, and overlaid the logo of the All-Star Game. For postage, I used a 2016 U.S. Flag coil stamp (Scott #5053) and a 1969 Professional Baseball Centenary stamp (Scott #1381).
