For these covers commemorating the centennial of the National Park Service, I paired each of the ten singles from the 2002 Longleaf Pine Forest sheet (Scott #3611) with one Pine Cone booklet stamp (Scott #2491).

The stamps are set atop an abstract depiction of the edge of a pine forest at the side of a lake. The insignia of the National Park Service is positioned in the lower-left. Each of the ten is cancelled with a Saint Louis Stamp Expo "National Parks Centennial Station" pictorial postmark, featuring the trees of a pine forest, and dated 1 April 2016.
